Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Sep 3, 2007 Can, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Dark reddish brown colour. Aroma and flavour of moderately roasted malts. Quite nice. KnutAlbert (3111), Oslo, Norway Sep 3, 2007 Canned, RBESG 07. Light, sweetish beer, rather forgettable. Tastes of toffee and candy sugar. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Sep 2, 2007 Can RBESG 07 ... Deep red ... sweet roast malts ... sweet fruity malt nice malty balance. harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 31, 2007 Can at RBESG 2007. Some good toffee on this, it was fine. Thanks to the two Canadians who brought this across. omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 31, 2007 Canned at RBESG ’07. Dark brown. Sweet and fruity with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Roasty malt gives me coffee and butter, there’s notes of apples before a carefully bitter finish. Quite good! rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Aug 30, 2007 (RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Amber color, offwhite head. Malty, milky aroma. Sweet chocolate flavor, some toffee, but too onedimensional, MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Aug 28, 2007 A Mes rate:
Bottle at RBESG. Had a bit of a beer spillage on this page of my note book so can only make out the words brown, aroma, chocolate and innoffensive (I think). Erm... yeah, that’s my rate. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Aug 28, 2007 Canned thansk to Dan, rbesg07. Really decent canned brown ale that i thought was a shwartzbier, chocolate malt and grassy hops balancing, very drinkable.
