2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottled from Local supermarket in Mestreech. Color is hazy light yellow, with thick fluffy head. Nose is lemon. Aroma is lime, and wehat and it remains all over. Actually it tastes what it is: A hoegaarden blonde with lemon. Leaves lemon sour aftertaste. Matches the current 33C very well.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
gak. wtf. Got this little number from the corner store across the street from the train station in Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium. Shoulda left it there. Poured with a nice big foamy textured head and some lace. Funny looking hazy pale yellow color. Aroma = lemon pledge mixed with sauerkraut farts. You in a situation where you need to leave? open some cans of this. Whew. Pepe Le Pew wears this as an aftershave. flavor’s not near so bad. Not saying much. Just have to put this down the drain and give my apologies to the sewer.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Cafe Centrum, Veurne, Belgium, 12-06-09 I asked for this, in fact I pointed to it on the list twice, so have to assume that this was what I got but I never got to see the bottle. Still there were two large slices of lemon in it as well so it tasted lemony. I found this refreshing after our cycle ride. Poured yellow in colour, wheaty, it was ok. A4 A3 F5 P3 Ov9 2.4

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
30cl Bottle from AH. Slightly hazy very pale yellow colour, thin white head. Aroma of lemon, a hint of grapefruit and passionfruit, but mostly dishwasher, a hint of wheat. Flavour is is sweet, sugar, lemon/lime, like bitter lemon. Too sweet to be refreshing. This reminds me of the South Park episode in which Indiana Jones gets raped by it’s creative directors. Substitute Indy for Hoegaarden and you’ll get the picture.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Hoegaarden with lime.
Pours cloudy golden, thick white head.
Aroma of citronelle/green lime wheat and yeasty.
Taste, citrus, green, light coriander wheat, yeasty.
It’s refreshing, simple, and again a beer that tries to mimic the German radlers by offering subpar products with fruits.

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
bottle from the gb, very small white head, light yellow colour, coriander smell, taste: very sweet, predominant lemon: lemon lollipop, lemonade. Also a bit watery and sugary. It’s a shame for a good beer like hoegaarden to ruin their own beer by adding artificial stuff in the beer.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle 33 cl poured into my classy Michael Jackson tasting glass. Pours a hazy whitish yellow with a medium white head and an artificial sour lemon-flavour, with hints of herbs and hops. The taste is mostly dominated by artificial citrus-flavour and artificial sweetener, not much beer to be found in this. It must be a good thirst-quencener, but I don’t think I would call this beer.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled from supermarket. Hazy white color, short head. Aroma of belgian white and bitter lemon, some citrus and lime. Sweet taste, quite high carbonation, bit bitter as well. Prefer the regular version.
