Sep 20, 2007 33cl bottle from systembolaget. Murky amber with a small white head that doesntt hold. Has a malty, sweet, and orange citrus aroma with just a little spice; very hefe like. Thick mouthfeel with medium coarbonation, melts over your tongue. Feels like regular hoegaarden mixed with lots of sugar. Flavor is big malty sweetness with a tangy citrus twist and an alcoholic bite. Finish is short and sticky, not bitter. Pretty much tastes like a standard Hoe’ but a lot bigger, and lacking the fresh, crisp bite that I love about regular. Not bad though.

Sep 19, 2007 Bottle. Mild sour nose but reveals lots of citrus, more orange than the regular Hoegaarden and good corainder presence. Cloudy dark yellow, patchy but loud crackly head. Very sour flavor, coriander finish. Somewhat biting palate.

Sep 14, 2007 Bold amber hue. Fluffy disapperaing head. Smoky nose with hops and spice. Malty mouthfeel with some hops nicely balanced and a welcome note of alcohol. Some sweetness from the malt leads to a very good beer indeed. One of my first Belgians all those moons ago.

Sep 13, 2007 Hazy amber with a small head. Strong aroma of fruit and yeast. Medium body. Flavours of fruity maltiness, orange is very evident with notes of spiciness and peach. Dry mild bitterness on finish. A very solid beer.

Aug 30, 2007 30 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Malty, slight spiced and classic belgian yeast. Soft malty and first, gains some herbal and bitter notes later. Caramel smoothness throughout. Mellow bitter finish with warming alcohol presence.
