4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A better-tasting alternative for Leffe Blond. One of my favorite summer beers. Goes well with some chorizo. Coriander, some banana, hint of citrus. Serve chilled.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer has a nice appearance of a blond beer. The color is golden yellow, more golden than yellow. The foam is white and soft, but disappears quickly. It is not as creamy as I like my foam. The beer has a nice sweet aroma, with some almond aspects. It also has a nice fruity tone. The aromas in the smell have a great similarity with Leffe Blond. The taste also has a great similarity. I like Leffe Blond, so this similarity is not bad. The taste also has this acidy fruitiness (the acidity is little). The almond aroma is less present, but it accounts for quite some sweetness in the drink. The beer is really nice and the flavors are in good balance. Bitterness, sweetness and sourness are perfectly balanced.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Opaque light golden body, medium to small head. Mildly yeasty aroma with cloves etc. Basic sweet malty/yeasty Belgian ale taste with more cloves and dry spiciness. Tastes like an unfiltered Leffe Blonde probably would, yet, despite this and the higher ABV, feels more watery. Airy and rather empty finish. Straightforward table beer, has no discernible complexity. The "Grand Cru" label is obviously a joke here.
