Jan 6, 2009 I couldn’t believe it when I walked into an Australian liquor store and this was right there in the cooler! I’d always wanted to try it, so bought a couple of bottles. Very good beer--not too dissimilar to the regular Hoegaarden variety, but with everything amped up to another level. Cloudy yellow color with frothy head. Fruity notes in the flavor, which isn’t too different from a good German weiss. Wish I could find this locally!

Jan 5, 2009 (Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 1 Jan 2009) Cloudy brownish yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sweet nose with stewed fruit, apricots, tropical fruit and spices. Fruity, malty taste with canned fruit (apricots and pineapple) and a slightly spicy finish. Medium body, too sweet with overwhelming notes of pineapple. This used to be a pretty good beer ages ago, but gone the Leffe way (as expected from anything InBev).

Dec 20, 2008 Updated: Oct 12, 2009I drink this all the time back home in the UK: Its a really classy Belgian blonde. Packs a punch. Youre wasted before you know it but you keep on coming back. A fruity estery spicy and dry bottle .Jelly beans and chardonnay in the finish.

Dec 7, 2008 Hazy golden body with some floating sediment, nice white lacing head. In the nose are fine spices, coriander and clove, some vanilla and citruses, a bit of honey. Smooth mouthfeel, spicy flavor, coriander and clove, topfermentation yeast, citruses. Fine and delicious with the nice sediment.

Dec 6, 2008 A normal hoegaarden with some more spices to it instead of the watery citrus. Has a more nuanced fruity flavor.

Nov 19, 2008 Bouteille de 330ml, bu à Brouhaha le 5/11/08. Blonde pale un peu brumeuse, petit collet. Arome de blé bien malté, joli bouque d’épice et d’agrumeé Goût un peu pétillant d’agrume, sensation sûrette presuqe lambic et une finission sec et amère. Je m’attandais à quelque chose plus comme une blance, maic c’est bien!

Nov 19, 2008 Bottle (in NZ), pours a gold-amber with a foamy white head. Bubblegum yeasty aroma, orange zest, corriander and peppery. Doughy malt on the palate, only slightly medicinal, with peppery spice and some fruitiness. Delicious.

Pours a murky golden colour with a small head.
Smell is of spices and oranges, have smellt this somewhere before but can’t place it, nonetheless very nice.
Taste is a bit too much alcohol present, but also again the very nice herbs and oranges.
