Medium head, hazy gold to amber. Strong aroma, fruity and yeasty. Sweet, with alcohol notes. Medium body, a little thin texture, long finish.

Golden with lots of suspended yeaat and small fizzy head. Lots of funky belgian yeast character in the aroma, along with multigrain bread, bubblegum, some banana and spicy phenolics. The taste has a sweet honey and wheaty maltiness, with barnyard character, lots of phenolic spiciness, a little banana and bubblegum. Medium bodied, acidic bite helps balance the sweetness. Really good but probably not to everyone’s taste.

Bottle - slightly cloudy dark orange, small white head. Decent orange lemon aroma. Ting on tongue and in mouth. Good tasting though bit fizzy - better off when left, but disappointing.

BB 27/05/15. Acquired via trade with Chopz. 330ml bottle. Pours a big foamy off-white head but doesn’t stay very long. Has a hazy orangey appearance with tons of sediments visible. Weak lacing. Aromas are very yeasty and fruity, citrus and floral hops. Flavours are mostly on the yeasty and citrusy side, some subtle notes of spices and hints of tropical fruits. Full bodied mouthfeel with fairly excessive carbonation.

Bela aparência alaranjada, turva e com espuma persistente. Fermentação muito elevada para o paladar quando comparado com o leve sabor frutado. Esperava mais.

Buitengewoon lekker blond bier. Ongefilterd, zacht zoet en met een klein lief bittertje op de achtergrond. Smaak van citrus en kruiden. Echt erg lekker.

330 ml bottle in Leuwen. Golden with white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is malty, soft yeasty, slight banana and faint alcohol. Taste is super smooth and nicely balanced with the yeast. Some banana and hay. Good!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 021 09:21 21 AROMA: medium pear-drop-like fruity malt aroma, low peppery phenols and alcohols as complement. medium-low sweet grainy malty aroma. APPEARANCE: gold color and translucent. large moussy white head with medium retention. lace formation. TASTE: fruity flavor with notes like the aroma (pear-drop) and slight peppery phenols and alcohol. Low bitterness with a semi-dry and faint bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with high carbonation. slight alcohol warmth but smooth. OVERALL: a nice belgian golden strong ale a bit less bitter.

Incredibly good, macro or no macro, it’s delicious, finely balanced, heavenly stuff. Reliable Belgian ale for sure
