Bottle. Pours hazy light orange with a ok white head. Strong aroma with hints of orange, coriander and citrus. Very fruity. Taste was good with orange, citrus and other sweet notes. Good Belgian ale notes. Good aftertaste. Nice.

It’s a nice and sweet white beer. More strong then the regular one and more tasty too. Enjoyed it :)

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy blond coloured brew with no bitternesh at all, an deceptive Belgian White looks got this brew. Nevertheless an fine well sweet tasting brew, but i like the Julius more. This beer is like the Hoegaarden Special but higher in alcohol.

Bottle from Carrefour Bruxelles Midi, split on split on the not so 300kph tasting part II on Train 9437 to Koln, 26/04/13. Hazed light golden amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is citrus, grass, spice, corriander. Taste comprises toffee, fruits, light malt, grass, touch of booze. Full end of medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Pretty average fayre, the alcohol could be better integrated and comes over a little harsh.

Bought a 300ml bottle at the supermarket. Aroma of oranges, coriander, wheat and herbs. Has a hazy orange color, almost gold with a white head and is highly carbonated. The taste is complex with tones of citrus fruits and herbs. This beer is not bad, but it is definitely not my favourite.

This is the regular Hoegaarden witbier, improved version. Straw-coloured, cloudy. Nice head. Wheat and citrus nose. Coriander too. Spicy, note of butter even. Wheat, lemon, hops, all nicely blended, good balance of bitter and sweet. The alcohol is present, but less than you’d expect of an 8% ABV. Sneaky Belgian!

Bottle, bit over best before. Cloudy body the colour of scalded butter, billowing snow-white head. Fruits, malts and butterscotch on the nose. Smooth body, but alcohol was noticeable. My fault I didn’t have it sooner- bit too much sediment floating about. Will have and rate again.

330 ml bottle. Pours a tawny brown with huge head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, cloves, banana, and lemon. Flavors are similar like a heavy Triple with additional notes of burnt honey and resin.

Smak och doft av citrus, humle, malt, belgisk jäst. Super gott, fruktigt och mycket smakrik.

Pours hazy golden/amber with oilskin head. Faint aroma leads to stronger taste of caramel, butterscotch, ginger, spruce, sourdough. Overall palate is slick feel, medium body, soft carbonation, astringent.
