3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours an almost opaque honey-golden with whilte head. Wheat, banana, slight caramel and hint of alcohol on the nose. Subtle citrus and biscuit aromas also noticable. Smooth caramel, wheat and malt flavours, moving through to more subtle banana and orange characters. A bitter malt and touch of alcohol present at the end of the mouthful, which linger on the palate. Smooth and balanced with a lack of carbonation. Nice, but nothing overly exciting.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy with suspensions, pale gold, white head. Floral aroma with spices (coriander), light honey and yellow fruit. Refreshing despite the high alcohol grade, Belgian yeasts, bitter, but it vanishes at the end. Yellow fruits, light spices, mandarin.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Malty, slight spiced and classic belgian yeast. Soft malty and first, gains some herbal and bitter notes later. Caramel smoothness throughout. Mellow bitter finish with warming alcohol presence.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
The unfiltered golden ale has a beautiful white foam that keeps relatively long. It has an irresistible fragrance of flower and hops, but the aroma is very discreet. A pleasant soft, bubbly and dry flavor spreads a hoppy and fruity taste. The relatively high alcohol content is not pungent taste. I recommend that you pour it very gently in the glass, there is a lot of yeast residues at the bottom. The finish is very lengthy and this Grand Cru is completely at the top among the largest Belgian ales.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
The head is creamy and stable, rather solid. Pours hazy orange-amber, with a medium carbonation. Fruity aroma, complex and appetising, yeasty. The taste is sweet -that’s probably a style feature that should not be understood as a negative comment- and spicy. Spicy, fruity and complex, again, like the aroma, extremely pleasant. The bitterness is not sharp, but very well blended with the overall taste. The palate for this beer is impressive: its body is perfectly round and its texture is slightly creamy. Furthermore, the medium carbonation helps it be drinkable and comfortable, as well as the magnificent long finish with a sweetish and fruity aftertaste (I do not tend to review beers in an overly reverential way, I really mean that this beer positively surprised me).
Overall, a great beer, magnificent palate and very interesting taste. This beer is a really good one. "Would drink again".

Pours orange. Aromas of banana and clove citrus too. This is very nice. Similar flavour profile. Like an imperial wit without the alcohol.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Hazy clove
Appearance: Thin white creamy head, pale golden colour
Taste: Exactly clove some sweet and spicy. Wheat malts.
Palate: Medium body, creamy and spicy texture, little carbonation and yeast flavour finish like cheese.
Overall: But, I think the heavy ABV is generally overwhelming the flavour.

0,33 l bottle from drankgigant.nl, best before 8/5/2016. Minimally hazy, orangeish yellow with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Nice, fruity-yeasty aroma of citrus, banana, coriander, peach and vanilla. Intense, sweetish, fruity-yeasty taste of banana, peach, coriander, peach and vanilla, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, peppery-spicy and yeasty finish. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. I like that one. Quite intense fruitiness, spritzy like a saison and yeasty like a witbier. If it wouldn’t contain 8.5%, I would call it the perfect summer beer. Easy to drink and refreshing while being nicely balanced, not overly sweet, bitter or spicy.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

Banana, clover, fruity, grapefruit.
Turbid amber/golden beer with a white head.
Basically the aroma with carbonation.
A great mix of a weizener and a triple beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Golden with short lasting white head. Lots of spices and Belgian yeast up front with cloves, fried banana, pancakes, dough. Over medium sweet with herbal bitter finish. Over medium bodied. Very spicy beer with some abbey-style yeast. Maybe a bit too much but still quite enjoyable.
