Bottle. Hazy pinkish colour with a medium white head. Fruity raspberry aroma and taste with herbal notes. Nice refreshing beer.

250ml bottle. Berries aromas. pours reddish colour, with some vanishing head, no lacing. Liht body and lively carbonation. Taste is really berry sweet, with some tartness. Palate saturating one.

750ml corked bottle from b&m Chester-le-Street. Bright pink-red in colour with a sweet medicinal raspberry/strawberry fruity flavour, slight tartness and a very dry biscuity finish.

Die Schaumkrone ist ganicht mal schlecht. Geschmacklich fruchtig beerig mit künstlich süßen Eindruck, etwas zuckrig. Fazit: Für daswas es darstellen soll ok, mir gefällts aber nicht so gut. Test vom 14.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,8,7,8,8 - 7,70

25cl brown bottle drank 5 days before its Best before Date, 17th Aug 2008. Poured into a ’Mort Subite’ flute. Cloudy, murky blood orange colour with a head that has a hint of redness in its makeup. A lot of carbonisation rising through the cloud to the head. Raspberry aroma, mixed with other red berries and sweet grapefruit. A fairly sweet smell, but not overally sickly. Aimed at the young/female side of the market, I am not sure the old brewery owners would have made such an obvious ’alco-pop’ style beer. The sweetness of the aroma carries on through to the taste, but this time it is a bit sickly and one small bottle is enough for me. The other three in the pack were given to Ladies to try and they all enjoyed them. Mouthfeel is fine, if you like sugared fruit juice with bubbles. I didn’t really take to it. Different and sweet, not my ’Cup of Tea’.

Like to end the evening with these fruit beers, but still too sweet. Raspberry taste is everywhere and kills all other. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

30 cl bottle. Pink color and hazy, foam is pink and nice. Taste and aroma is like rasberry cheescake lippalm. Really artificial taste. A bit bitter, but ends really sweetly. At the end it made me bit sick.

Pink colour, nice foam. Strong artifial taste an smell. Not a plesant beer. Taste once and not again. The taste and smell of fake fruits kills any good witbeer taste.

This seems to be a wit bier flavoured with raspberries, I found it refreshing and easily drinkable, rasberries dominated the flavour, but overall quite nice

This hoegaarden has little aroma and pours pink with a little head. It has a sweet texture that lingers.
