Hazy yellow, with a medium white head. Sweet, yeasty and some wheat in the aroma. Very boring, yeasty flavor, sweet. Nothing special.

Hazy yellow-white colour with huge fluffy head. Aroma is sweet with some yeast. Flavor is sweet with some banana and clove. Palate is nice. I actually like this better than the original hoegaarden wit.

Bottled: Pale yellow coloured. Unclear. Huge white fluffy head. Fresh, yeasty, citrusy and sweet aroma. sweetness, yeast, malts, banana and some spices in the flavour. Fresh and somewhat watery aftertaste, which is quite disappointing. Apart from the aftertaste, this is a good one.

First a note to the company. MAKE THIS AVAILBLE EVERYWHERE!This is THE best beer ever. It is even better then Celis White. Everyything a beer should be. Beautiful color of gold, A fantastic smell. Creamy mouthfeel, terrific flavor. This does not even need a lemon or Orange. I never had anything this good. Wits and Wheats rule

Bottle from the Anchor, Birmingham. Peanut and almond aroma, with a richer, more orange colour than standard Hoe. Petite ring of white fluff, with an orderly level of lacing. Initially tastes just like normal Hoegaarden, but things do get dryer and more bitter towards the long, salty/bready/malty finish. I actually prefer normal Hoe - this really doesn't seem that Speciale to me; but at the end of the day, it's still a quality Wit.
