Dirty orange amber. Ahhh. That signature waft of narcotic soft clovey spice, banana and citrus, reinforced by caramel and toffee apple . Banana, pepper, Flying Saucers, Hefe-like wheaty biscuit, woodsy spice. Hint of bitterness beyond that of standard Hoey. Chai-like clovey afters again. Warming wintery spice with banana and toffee apple maltiness. Soft an silky. Pretty sexy Wit, with a dash of spoiling paperiness. Clings to the palate with warming, almost mulled spice. Nice.

Bottle. Hazy orange body, small white haed. Aroma of malt, hay, straw and oranges. Sweet flavor, none bitterness. Watery texture.

25 cl bottle. One of the best Hoegaarden beers in my opinion. An appreciable slight complexity, above all in the aroma, and in the same time drinkable and refreshing. White creamy head that falls quickly. A pale golden-yellow, cloudy. Pleasant but not strong aroma of banana, citric notes, spicy (a little bit of pepper) and a vanilla sweetness. Te taste is more bitter and intense than the aroma, but also a fruity sweetness which overpowers the aftertaste. Smooth and softly carbonated mouthfeel.

Not a bad one, but not my favourite hoegaarden. The small 25cl bottle leaves you wanting a little more. Dark yellow (is there such a thing?), hazy pale yellow (that’s better). Bubbly taste.

Cloudy blond color, with a big head. It has a quite evident spicy aroma (cloves then coriander). The body is a bit rounder than other Wit beers, with some malt and wheat flavor and a delicate spicyness; there is still some sweetness and very light orange fruitness. Balanced. Pleasant.
