Great experience and definitely much better aged then fresh. Ha,ha Jeppe I am still alive!!!! Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium

Even the smell was very similar, which was a little weird in my opinion. The taste however was different, but in a negative way. Suffice to say, I was drinking this beer whille eating spicey mexican food, and it did do a job of cleaning the palate, but the nice original aftertaste of Hoegaarden white was missing. In fact this beer was so totally unremarkable that I don’t know what else to say other then, ’it is good with spicey food’. Anyway, this beer is definately a poor-man’s wheat beer. Average at best. An enjoyable beer though not one that I feel differs entirely from the original Hoegaarden.
Orange appearance with a citrusy aroma to match.
All in all an enjoyable if not outstanding witbier. cab (863), Denmark

Refreshing medium sweet body with a little tartness to balance. As far as I remember not a huge amount of difference from the regular Hoegaarden but perhaps not as refreshingly drinkable which is surely the point of the beer.
