Cloudy blond color, with a big head. It has a quite evident spicy aroma (cloves then coriander). The body is a bit rounder than other Wit beers, with some malt and wheat flavor and a delicate spicyness; there is still some sweetness and very light orange fruitness. Balanced. Pleasant.

Honey color, cloudy, creamy head. Lemon aroma. Lemon and grape juice flavor. Rather poor lacing. Just a bit herbal, but the fruit dominates. Full bodied.

Cloudy gold blond beer with a medium creamy head. Spicy (clove) aroma and taste. Medium bitter taste with a light citric undertone. I prefer this one to the normal Hoegaarden.

Cloudy golden coloured body with a frothy dense white head. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed, pale malt, bright hops and a little sweetness. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavour with alcohol, bananas, cloves and a bit of hops in the taste. Aftertaste shows some bitterness, a little sugars and a decent amount of alcohol! Overall, not a bad beer and worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased at a small shop in Bruxelles, Belgium on 13-March-2008.

Bottle, 5.7%. Very citric orange peel aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Big, stable white head. Spicy flavour, a lot of clove, turning orange-flavoured. Semi-high bitterness for a witbier.

25 cl. bottle. Hazy yellow body, with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus and fruit. Flavor is fresh, with citrus and fruit. A refreshment.

Hazy golden color with a small white head. Slightly sweet/spiced aroma. Taste is similar to standard hoegaarden only slightly lighter and dryer...I like it better.

Cloudy dull beige. Tart and wheaty aroma. Wheaty flavours, lots of orange character. Lots of dusty yeast notes, too. Not as bright as regular Hoegaarden, but doesn’t up the complexity either. So, kind of pointless, despite there being nothing particularly wrong with it technically.
