| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Bottle from a French supermarket, shared with friends at a very boozy garden party in the Duras sunshine, where this was one of only two beers in an ocean of red wine. A hazy chestnut colour with a nose of bitter almonds, brown sugar and corriander. Very soft mouthfeel, with a restrained sweetness and well-hidden alcohol. Very easy to drink! aerosol999 (113), Quebec, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Aroma: Candy, sugary sweet aroma. Spicy with plum esters and banana bread. Raisins and low clove phenolic.
Appearance: Light straw gold with big fluffy white Belgian head.
Flavour: Rich sweet malty and spicy. Bready, citrus (distinct orange and lemon zest flavours) light clove phenolic. Warming and reminiscent of fruitcake and gingerbread. Balanced alcohol.
Mouthfeel: light bodied and fluffy. Warming
Overall: Delicious spicy sweet and alcoholic. Not cloying or over spiced. Not one element supercedes the others. cgarvieuk (4178), Edinburgh, Scotland

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Yet another donation from JK’s Belgium trip. Murky copper color with a thin head. Strong wheat and corriander aroma. Wow... This tastes like corriander slurry. Not a bad thing by definition, but not my cup o’ tea. Or beer. Tranquillity (1166), Espoo, Finland
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle, about 1˝ years old (bb 03/10/07). The sediment is black and falls to the bottom in big pieces. The head is shifting from brown to almond and the colour is dark brown/copper/amber. Really fruity aroma, roses, nuts, alcohol. Really strong in taste, smooth and silky on the tongue. The taste contains at least cola, peach, gingerbread, cardemon and nuts. Complex and enjoyable. I hope I’ll go to Holland again soon to get some more of this... JK (2952), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 24, 2007 One of the best aromas I have ever found in beer. Lots of fruit and sweet malt as well as spices. Flavor is much lighter and less impressive. Some more fruit, malty, and salt in the finish which doesn’t seem to fit, but overall this is nice. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Thanks to JK. Pale cloudy brown pour with some white head. Hops and some sourness in the fruity nose. Faint fruity in this highly carbonated beer and some grain as well.
