Pours a hazy dark amber color with orange tones and a big frothy and long lasting head. Sweet strong fruity aroma similar to the "Abbey Tripel" style, showing notes of peaches, apricots and a little of apple/cinnamon. There’s also a slight spicey note enhanced by some liquourish hints & some yeast. Flavor is sweet and highly alcoholic for an 8,5% ABV. It feels like a liquour in the mouth, ending with a medium bitter finish. The body is thick and softly carbonated. It has a nice syrupy consistence. Overall a powerfull and alcoholic ale. Drink it with caution.

330ml brown bottle @ Smokeless Joe, Toronto. Deep amber/brown pour, hazy. Very creamy white head. Slight wheaty and malty chocolate scent. Wheaty flavour, sweet malt notes, light chocolate malts. Yeasty drying finish.

Dark hazy beer with a strong malty flavour and aroma. Strong yeast flavours as well. Head is off-white and lasts long enough. Enjoyable once in a while (due to it’s price in SA)

Hazy amber coloured, some yeast. Average off white head. Sweet yeasty aroma, some maltyness, dry fruits. Smouth taste, some biterness. Finish is rather flat and short, lillte astringent, some sweet touches. Easy drinkable.

Dark cloudy amber colour. Tan long lasting head. Lots of yeast in the aroma with some maltiness aswell. Flavor is malty with some hints of hops and some bitterness in the aftertaste. This one is pretty good.

Pours a dark copper with a thick, frothy off-white head. Sweet grainy Belgian malty aroma has some caramel and yeasty notes. Starts with a dry full malty palate, some bready, semi-sweet malt and a dry yeasty finish. Fairly well-balanced, but could use a touch more sweetness.

Brought to the states by a friend of mine. 33cl bottle poured into Belgian style chalis. Huge malty Belgian aroma wafting from glass. Beautiful dark amber color, slight haze. Poured nice head, big bubbles. Wonderful flavor, malt, dark fruit, sweet caramel, no hops (as expected). Very nice beer. What a treat! Wish I could get it here.
