Sweet strong fruity aroma similar to the "Abbey Tripel" style, showing notes of peaches, apricots and a little of apple/cinnamon. There’s also a slight spicey note enhanced by some liquourish hints & some yeast. Flavor is sweet and highly alcoholic for an 8,5% ABV. It feels like a liquour in the mouth, ending with a medium bitter finish. The body is thick and softly carbonated. It has a nice syrupy consistence. Overall a powerfull and alcoholic ale. Drink it with caution. pintbypint (1006), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Sweet grainy Belgian malty aroma has some caramel and yeasty notes. Starts with a dry full malty palate, some bready, semi-sweet malt and a dry yeasty finish. Fairly well-balanced, but could use a touch more sweetness. imrichbeeeatch (16), USA

Huge malty Belgian aroma wafting from glass. Beautiful dark amber color, slight haze. Poured nice head, big bubbles. Wonderful flavor, malt, dark fruit, sweet caramel, no hops (as expected). Very nice beer. What a treat! Wish I could get it here.
