| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2005 Light brown / red colour, moderate white head lasting a very long time. Very strong coriander aromas, orange, malt. But the flipside of the coin is a lack of complexity. Taste fades out pretty quickly, which is a little disappointment. Not bitter at all.
Definitely a "Christmas beer", I drink it along strong meet (deer,...) or eventually goose. stouby (1938), Holbaek, Denmark

Redbrown with a large and long lasting head. Aroma heavy malty (brown sugar, fruit, coriander, orange) and light hoppy. Flavor heavy sweet. Body medium to full, creamy, soft carbonated. The alcohol is certainly felt (a bit vinous in the finish?). BrockLanders (750), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Poured a dark amber and rather hazy...big fluffy brown head. Sweet malt nose and the a nice spicy coriander edge. Taste was also very full of sweet malts with fruity notes like orange, peach, apricot...sweeter than I was used to but it was good. Finished on the dry side with a hint of spice. Thin on the mouthfeel. I liked it...it was the one that started my quest for better Belgian ale. Eructoblaster (1490), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2005 Bottle. Dark brown muddy body topped with a fair beige creamy head. Very special malty/hoppy aroma with fruity and sour notes. Taste perfectly hides the alcohol. It carries some fruity, yeasty, and spicy flavors, and ends with a decent warming bittersweet finish. bikesandbeers (468), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2005 30cl bottle. pours a nice red-tea color with a creamy off white head,, whichs last a while. the aroma is of dark fruit, with some malt and spice and reminds me alot of some trappists. The flavor is sweet and unlike the good beers, simple. The alcohol is present at the end, and it finishes dry with a strong hint of grape. Thin body and carbonation make it feel a bit like soda. Fruity to match its name, its a good beer, but considering all the great belgians out there, it falls short. blankboy (3204), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2005 Bottle at Bar Volo. Pours a cloudy bubbly dark reddish-brown with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sour fruit, spices, malt and metal. Flavour of sweet malt and yeast is overly carbonated, the alcohol is too present and just doesn’t taste very good. A piss-poor Belgian Ale in my opinion. Habanero (619), Tranbjerg, Denmark

Sweet fruity aroma. Fruity, spicy and malty flavour with some alcohol. Medium bodiet and smooth palate. Nice malt/ alcohol finish.
Very enjoyable! harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 24, 2005 Bottle. Muddy brown colour with thick beige lasting head. Yeasty and nutty aroma. Could do with some more complexity. Some choc/coffee/dark fruit mix. Some vinuousness. Bit thin. Hop on end with more choc/sweet dark fruit. OK
