Bottle. White relatively long lasting head. Dark brown, distinct bitterness, actually nothing much else.

Poured a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity aroma with a fair amount of brown sugar. Flavor has a fruity beginning that mid way through starts to dry out. Semi-dry slightly bitter finish. Nice warming sensation. Pretty tasty.

330 ml bottle. Delicious aroma, smelling of spice and orange, with hops also present. Pours an orange-brown colour with a suspension of yeast sediment when pouring from the bottom of the bottle. The flavour is complex - fruity and spicy with a distinct maltiness. The palate is smooth with a restrained bitterness but distinct hit of alcohol at the finish. Recommended.

Bottle: Dark orange with a heavy beige head, herbal and spicy aroma. Taste is complex, spicy sweet, strong of yeast. A great after meal beer.

Definately one of the best beers I have tasted. It has a nice rich flavor. The foam has a staying power other beers would envy.

330 at Volo. Damn nice. Fruity and a bit tart, really nice nose and balance. And structure. And finesse. And did I say fruit yet? Stands up to those über-belgian abbey strong ales & trappists with no apologies. Actually much better balanced than some Unibroue stuff. ’Drinkable complexity’, hmmh!

330ml bottle in Hoegaarden glass. Brown w/ pale head. Smells and tastes a bit like Delirium Nocturnum, malty, pretty bitter for a belgian ale. Good sourishness. Rich and fizzy. Good but not fantastic.
