| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2005 330 ml bottle. Cloudy ruddy-brown beer with a thick creamy white head. Beautiful sweet dark malts, orange, cherry, berry, citrus as well as plums/prunes and a shot of coriander make this a very complex brew. Flavour is sweet and spicy with loads of plum, cherry, apple and yeast. Nice wheatiness underneath it all. Finish is a little bit tinny, but with so much that is right in here, it’s easy to overlook. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2005 Updated: Apr 25, 2006Cloudy true brown, with a large initial head that returns to a respectable size at equilibrium. Malty and fruity aroma, but I can’t exactly put my finger on the fruit origins. Slight notes of coffee. Flavour is pretty good, which a bit of bitterness and reasonably sweet. Only a medium body in the mouth. Not bad, but there’s a lot of room in which it can be bettered! Re-rate: The fruit I could discern as rhubarb (I think). The flavour seemed quite well balanced, and although it is only medium bodied, it was strong enough to make it an enjoyable beer. Bump the Flavour by 1 and the overall by 1. Bottle - July 2005
Pours bright copper with a dense, rich, creamy white head. Aroma is malts, bread, sweet. It leaves a batifull lacing in my goblet as sipping goes by. Flavor is medium to full, strangely spicy. Mouthfull is nice, vivid, creamy, yeasty and i find hard to believe this is 8,5% b/v. Bitternes is there, but not harsh. Aftertaste is subtly, a little "gummy" and pleasant.
A wonderfull brew JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 11, 2005 Bottle. Hazy dark amber colour with huge off-white head. Aroma has banana, other fruit, a little yeast and some malts. Nice taste that reveals itself gradually; sweet, fruity, spices, orange peel, light bitter finish. Nice creamy mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, well hidden alcohol. Very nice. DiscoForever (68), Dunedin, New Zealand

Amazing aroma: instant dessert beer! Big bananery taste with distinct carb tingle and creamy body. Great with bananas - must try with Banoffee Pie!
