Nice and tangy with a full body of ripe overtones, i tasted some lemony undertones, and a bit of burnt grass too (wink wink choke hold) a fairy good beer from a highly acclaimed stable of beers. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2004 A hazy dark amber beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of coriander and oranges. The flavor is also extremely sweet, almost cloying, with notes of oranges and peach, the end is quite dry and spicy. The mouthfeel is thin, but the alcohol burns slightly in the throat. JayBaxter (387), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 11, 2004 Malty, estery aroma, sweet and spicy with notes of orange, honey, pepper, coriander, clove, banana, licorice, dried flowers, vanilla, brown sugar and very faint wisps of alcohol. Hazy medium-dark red-amber color, seeming to glow from within, with a fine, slight off-white head. Flavor is sweet, sugary and very fruity and citric, with a spicy, floral, lightly alcoholic and musty finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and gently warming, body is full and rich. Highly flavorful. Enjoyable. TBone (6746), Pori, Finland
