Looks like they pulled this straight out of a drained swamp. A primordial looking beer from the murky depths. Great aroma and citrus taste. Nevertheless I find it hard to be convinced by this. Probably the alocohol content which puts me off.

Dark amber-brown. Nose is sugary and yeasty, some spice to it, quite assertive and interesting with dark fruit, some cola sweetnes, really, really nice. Flavor is a big letdown, watery and a bit soapy, washes out the yeast and spice. Little flat. Forbidding this one seems like a bit of overkill, frankly.

Murky orange brown body with a foamy light tan head. The aroma is yeast and some spice, cloves and citrus. Flavor is straight forward sweet sugary belgian strong. The yeast profile is rather strong and detracts a bit. Towards the end some hop bitterness shows up. Body is mediium and fairly carbonated. Not bad, not great.

Nice dark orange colour, lasting foam, a bit bitter at first, but second and third tasting bring about interesting flavours and aromas. Not the greatest beer I’ve triaed, but definitely worth trying.
