Mid brown with a hint of Red. Lightly carbonated with a tight white head. Musty aroma, hint of fruit also. Warm, Fruity, musty flavours with some alcohol in the background. Complex and good.

(33 cl bottle, bought in Denmark). Cloudy brown with floaties, enormous thick creamy head. Lovely complex aroma of cherries, figs, prunes, spices, oak and sandalwood. Flavour is not quite as complex - malty, some fruit and spices, rather alcoholic, bitter finish. I wish the aftertaste had been as good as the aroma. A beer well above average, but not as good as I expected.

bottled madrid, spain: brown haze with large tan head that clinged and laced. nose of spices nutmeg and cinammon. spices caried to the palate with some roasted maltiness and slight tang of citrus.. nice body, round at the hips. better then i thought it would be and better then i think these rates suggest. quite nice for the drinking.

I drank a 4 year old bottle I brought back from Belgium. Yes it had oxidized a bit but it was interesting nonetheless. It was sweet & spicy with big malt aroma and flavor. I wouldn’t suggest that most people sit on it for 4 years, but I do that sometimes with my cellar.

(on bottle)First foregn beer I ever saw, when I was a kid in Irma. Diden´t taste it before now, some 25 years later. Not worth the wait. Small nose of sugar, caramel and yeast. Hazy, bright orange color. Apple/malty fullness, best thing of it must be the concelling of the 8,5%, they where never detected.
