A nice dark reddish amber body with Sweet fruity malt present in both the aroma and flavour. Interesting finish and pleasant mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this one and may give it another go at some point as my palate my not have picked up all the complexities this far into the evening. SimonLarsen (210), Sydney, Australia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2004 Nice, lacks some creaminess in palate. No bitterness in the aftertaste, only an alcohol warmth with the carbonation tingle. I've heard of people warming beers with a poker in winter, if I ever try that this might be the one, I suspect it is light enough to be quite warm without overpowering and has the sweetness to caramelise from the poker, If I had a fire I'd try it now in fact. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2004 Dark amber, with a creamy offwhite head. Has a fruity and yeasty aroma. Has a rather complex flavor, but most of al lit is sweet, probably from the alcohol that comes through. Rather mild finish. Nate (2540), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
