Gorgeous aromas that begin with mild hops and evolve into apple, orange, sweet honey and caramelised banana. A dark orange colour with fine sediment. Complex flavours, hard to pin down. Sweet hops and rich fruity flavours.. Ripe orange, strawberries, apple, caramelised banana, vanilla. Slightly malty. Creamy mouthfeel with a sweet fruity finish. Forbidden Fruit indeed

Pours cloudy dark orange-brown, with an off white head. The nose is treated to sweet caramel aromas, reminiscent of a wheat beer. Underneath this lies the aromas of the forbidden fruit, which seems to be seasoned with clove. The flavour and texture are very smooth, fruit and clove dominate the palate. Also present are some subtle spices, and a slight bitterness which perfectly balances the sweet caramel malt flavours. This is a smooth well crafted ale, full of complex flavour.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a darkish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice and orange.

This is a white beer which I don’t like so it is hard for me to rate these. As fair as I can be it was the normal coriander and orange with spices throughout. Spice is not my favorite.

This is a strong brown ale and it’s apparent in the flavor. Dark fruit, alcohol and some spice.
