Dark brownish/purple colour, off-white head. Aroma of sour dark fruits, malts. Flavour is sweet and dark fruits, a bit sour. Lots of carbonation. Out of the ordinary, definitely worth a try. chicagodri (1041), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Pours a hazy amber color, thin white head. Aroma is fruity with sweet malt as well. Dark fruit and alcohol is present in the flavor. Solid beer though. Pinball (2795), Allerød, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2008 what a great fusion between good belgian beer, and witbeer. still reminds me of delicious flavors from hoegaarden witbeer, but has like double the strength, and color. if you like belgian and like the hoegaarden flagship, this one will mke you weep. low score is because it is, after all, an in-between tryng to straddle two types that cannot be. tarjei (1746), Bryne, Norway

Heavy dark fruits on the nose, with hints of alcohol. Heavy bodied mouthfeel, slightly spicy with notes of grape, raisins, plums and other similar dark fruits. The finish is fruity, lingering and has alcohol warming. A damn good beer, that should be enjoyed. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland
