33 cl bottle. Pours light murdy brown with yeast sediments. medium head and some lacing. fruity hoegarden signature aroma. taste is fruity and sweet with some bitternes. the aftertaste is somewhat metallic maybe due to the bottle yeast, but otherwise its a fine beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mitra.nl. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Yeasty fruity aroma. Nice bittersweet taste. This was one of my favorites when I was in my late teens and after all those years, I’m 35 now, it continues to impress me. Great beer

Red amber colored beer with hardly any head. Soft carbonation. Herbal nose and taste. A bit of caramel, cinnamon and alcohol in the medium lasting aftertaste.

Flaske fra Belgisk Bryg, delt med Ovesen: en god inspirasjonsdrikk på en dag hvor vi brygger en beligisk tripel. Innsmigende aroma som bærer bud om at behovet for snop kan bli tilfredsstilt. Og det gjør den på en forførerisk måte.

smaken: stevig gezoet, donkere fruiten, rozijn, banaan, gedroogde fruit, geroosterde en caramouten, vanille
vol van body, romig, afdronk: zoet en droog.
vroeger veelvuldig gedronken, nu de eerste rating ;)

Ruby/amber body with a froathy off-white head. Complex aroma: caramel, belgian yeast, spices, ripe fruits. Taste is pretty similar. Starts mild-sweet than a nice hoppy note comes in mouth. Complex but balanced beer.

(bottle) pours a hazy ruby-amber colour with a frothy pinkish off-white head. aroma of bubble gum, raisins, light mango and peppermint, slightly phenolic, with notes of treebark, pepper and banana. flavour is mostly caramel, raisins and toffee, less spicy than the aroma, with a hint of alcohol in the herbal-hoppy finish. medium to heavy-bodied with lively carbonation.

330 ml bottle at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 8.5%
Poured carefully as not to disturb the yeast. Very deep ruby colour, very close to brown. Very clear and transparent body. On top of the beer, two fingers of tan, soapy head, with good retention and nice lacing left around the glass.
Aroma is fruity, with nice hop smell, spices, cherries, and light alcohol smell.
Taste is also fruity and somewhat sweet, at least at first. Quite complex. Malts, sugars, cherries, caramel. Aftertaste is moderate sweet as well.
Full body, carbonation above average. At first is very dry on the palate, but then it gets a sugary stickiness.
Overall, a very nice strong ale, complex, fruity and tasty.
