Hoegaarden

Pours cloudy pale yellow with a frothy white head that remains for a while. Aroma is lemon, clove, and wheat. Very crisp and refreshing taste. Easy to drink but very sweet so I wouldn’t drink more than one at a time.

Bottle. Pours a very hazy pale yellow with a creamy snow white head that quickly reduces to a ring, good lacing. Nose is lemon candy, soap, wheat, yeast, coriander. Flavor is bright lemon with soap and a tight, spicy finish. Crisp and clean, a great summer beer.

12oz bottle 6/16/09-Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander, and orange peel. Taste of the same with a bit of citrus coming through. This light bodied brew is definitely one of the better whites made. Great tasting.

I’ve tasted this gem many times before; the first was actually in Belgium. Hoegaarden is crisp, smooth and delicious. I had a glass yesterday at brunch. The color is very light; the head is quite thick; and the aroma is citrusy and refreshing. The taste is similaly fruity, though to a lesser degree.

This is the beer that started it all for me, so I admit to having a soft spot for it - Thanks to my university roommate for recommending it an having the appropriate glass. Still love sipping it out of that hoegaarden tumbler. Bright golden yellow throughout with a dense, billowing white crown. Aroma is citrus-sweet, yeasty and spicy blending into the tastes of ripe banana, grapefruit and bread with balanced undertones of coriander and orange zest. Mouthfeel is smooth and finish is refreshing with spice and zest lingering. This is truly a classic witbier that continues to entice over the years.

Aroma of fruits, spices, banana and wheat. The flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma but weaker. It’s really a refreshing beer. Perfect lawn mowing beer.

Ive grown to dig this and have developed a dangerous soft spot for it . Son of A Bitch its refreshing . Citusy ..spicy..with tart bitter backdrop. I don’t even wanna mention how eazy it is to consume. Like you wake up 25 miles from your home..sleeping on the side walk and you have no idea how you got there, you’re smiling and its all thanks to Hoegaarden.;)

Unfiltered pale-lemon juice like. Fine frothy head. Orange & coriander evident, as is sweet/sour aroma. Neutral balance, no alcohol evident. Wife says "flavour? 10/10. ’Cause it is.." Watery, fizzy. Super fresh. Wifes favorite beer. Great for summer. Purchased in SuperBest
