| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Pale yellow pour with large white head. Wheat and spices in aroma, but flavor is a bit watered down, only hint of citrus. Overrated. puboflyons (599), New Hampshire, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jun 5, 2009 From the 330 ml bottle marked 15/03/10-T-02217-3511. At first glance the pour looks as clear and thin as water but after a moment the cloudy, pale yellow appearance emerges. A smoky roasted wheat aroma is the first sensation I get. Delicate but typical for a witbier. The mouthfeel is fairly heavy but the flavor explodes with wheat and coriander. A vague citrusy tartness but more sweet than that. A fine balanced beer. thekmoonlegend (93), Lynn, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2009 Unfiltered, so cloudy yellow color with a think head. Aroma is quite strong with citrus and wheat. Much lighter on the taste buds than I was expecting, it’s very easy to drink. Good beer. Cirrhosis (615), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 2, 2009 One of my all time favorite brews. You just feel all powerful when you hold that giant chunky thick glass in your hand and all the other sheep in the bar stare at you wishing there pitiful pint of yellow piss would look as good. The beer is a cloudy pail yellow, with a giant thick white head that disappears after a few sips. The refreshing sent of orange, lemon and spices prepares you for the goodness that will soon follow with your first taste. Dam I feel like I’m having sex with my keyboard writing this review. The taste is very smooth with hints of citrus and spice, the after taste is slightly tart making it the perfect choice any time your thirsty. I can’t get enough of this stuff, its like heroin it is..... (homer drewl) walrussell (105), , Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2009 Very light, but good. There is enough sweet spice notes to make the lightness refreshing instead of boring. Great feeling when there is head - not so much without head. cfrancis (311), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 The best white I’ve had. Mass produced and I haven’t had one that matches it yet.
Orange flavour that just makes your mouth tingle. Fantastic. DigitalMan (113), Idaho, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | May 31, 2009 RateBeer pulled my original rating. Apparently someone thought I had to be kidding. I wasn’t. I really hated this watery beer. Looks, feels and tastes like water with a bit of funky bleh mixed in. Did not finish it, did not want to. And sadly, I bought two... the other will probably go straight from the fridge to the trash. As a side note, RateBeer removing ratings, or not allowing low ratings for popular beers skews the validity of the results. chopra (12), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
