May 5, 2009 Bottle, 33cl - Hazy pale yellow colored beer with a nice big head. Aroma is fresh with hints of lemon, and yeast. Flavor is again citrusy lemony with hints of wheat and coriander. Not overly impressed with this Wit, although I do enjoy this beer a lot a hot summers day.

May 3, 2009 Bottle. This is a hazy golden yellow in the glass with a densely bubbled white head (tiny, tiny bubbles). The aroma on this is pretty nice: tons of lemon and yeast with other citrus fruits, clove. The mouthfeel is really nothing special, thin and fairly watery, slightly bubbly on the tongue. I taste lots more lemon, some orange, wheat, water.

May 3, 2009 Updated: Sep 16, 2009Draught at Viisipenniä, Helsinki, Finland. Hazy pineapple colour with white head. Lemony, citrus, sweet and yeasty aroma. Sweetish, wheaty, fruity flavour with some hoppiness. Excellent witbier.

May 3, 2009 Pours a slightly "flourescent" yellow with gorgeously contrasting white head that remains meringue-like and retains well.
Nose is a soft mixture of lemon with other mixed citrus, and faint vanilla.
On the palate is a nice balance of wheaty malt sweetness with citrus, yeasty/estery flavours that are oh so good, and a suggestion of candied sweetness as well.
Finish is pleasingly tart and appetizing. Although Hoegaarden was amazing in previous years compared to this bottling more recently, it is nonetheless an amazing ale.

May 2, 2009 Updated: May 4, 2009Pours white gold and cloudy with a thick white head. A little lace. Aroma of citrus hops. Taste of orange peel and a lot of yeast. still has a crisp feel. After taste is bitter and a watery. an OK beer.
