Overall still one of the best whitebeers I’ve tasted so far, though it’s quite an average taste. Very nice smell and good color for a white.

Bottle. Pours a weak pale cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is of lemon peel, some spice and a litlte banana. Taste is light and refreshing and of light lemon and faint spice with a bit of a yeast characteristic. Middle of the ground summer brew for me.

33cl bottle @ home. A good white beer for a hot summer night.

Enjoyed on tap at Lincoln Hall in Chicago, IL while seeing the band Jeff the Brotherhood. I’ve had Hoegaarden numerous times before and it really is delicious. Appearance very light yellow with rich white head. Aroma of coriander, Belgian yeast, bananas. Taste similar to the aroma. Really solid beer that I should drink more often!

Whitish pale yellow opaque body, it looks like somebody has spilled milk in my beer! I’m probably a victim of my poor pouring skills again, but I didn’t mange to get a very big head, and the white, fizzy head that was created reduces to a filmy layer pretty fast. The aroma is intense and very pleasant: spices, banana, yeast, citrus and perfume. The taste is quite sweet but also acidic. A sweet honey flavour that I didn’t notice in the flavours balances the citric acidity and spices very well. The body is a bit too thin, but the fitting lively carbonation and the nice dry finish saves the palate rating. Extremely refreshing and crisp and perfect for a sunny afternoon in the garden!

Bottle. Pours yellow hazy in the glas with a big white head. Typical wheat nose with coriander. Nice body, which often is under estimated by making wheat beer. Regardless of this is one of the most commercial brews, I think it belong in the top. Really nice

a cloudy yellow colour, nice size head that fades over time. Bananas, orange and spice, clove and coriander, up front with more subtle characteristics behind. Some fruity sweetness.

Easy to drink witbier that comes with a strong, heavy looking glass. Not really special, but it’s very much in balance and very easy to drink. Just couldn’t blow me away. Mouthfeel is a bit flat, lacking in body.
