4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 villy83 (262) - Sausalito, California, USA - MAY 15, 2011
33cl bottle from a local supermarket. It pours a hazy light yellow liquid with a good-looking high white head that lasts throughout the beer, leaving little lacing. The aroma is citrus hops (mostly lemon), mild spices, wheat and a good deal of yeast. It tastes likewise, but citron is more orange-like in the mouth. A perfect thirst-quencher, it has small but lively carbonation, which turns out to be pleasant and add refreshingness to the brew. It feels lightly sweet and sour, light-medium bodied and it ends not very dry. Pleasant mild orangy and spicy aftertaste. A classic, a very good beer with a very nice presentation.

Tap @ Gyngen, Århus. Pours hazy light yellow, no head. Aroma of yeast, lemon and spices. Taste is much like aroma, orangepeel, coriands. Thin to medium body, medium carbonation wich keeps it refreshing. Easy drinking and refreshing, good session beer. 120511

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 erschiuma (38) - ITALY - MAY 8, 2011
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RedSox2004 (749) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Cloudy pale yellow with a nice bright white head and moderate lacing. Lemon and pepper aromas with a hint of barnyard. Citrusy hops flavor leads the way with the lemon and pepper coming close behind, supported by a wheat backbone. Chewy mouthfeel, light body, nice carbonation, and a crisply bitter finish. Better than expected.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 prawlie (474) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2011
33cL bottle from Tesco poured into a Hoegaarden glass. Finally got around to rating this after appreciating it for many years. Apparently this was actually brewed in Belgium, unlike the stuff that was being sold in the UK recently which was brewed for rather than by Inbev Belgium. Typical wheaty yellow appearance with the big head.
Delicious wheaty and citrus aroma, zesty. Great tasty beer that is a lovely blend but also delightfully easy to drink. Excellent session beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 hoosiers1994 (559) - Maryland, USA - MAY 1, 2011
22oz draught. The beer smells of lemons and grains, very lightly sweet. The beer is a cloudy light yellow with a white head. Taste is very light, sweet and not much malt noticed, nor hops. A good example of a light Belgian White, perfect for summer. Overall very enjoyable.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 esp0r (654) - NORWAY - APR 30, 2011
Bottle. Extreme pale yellow, thick white head. Smells of citrus, coriander and orange peel. Taste is same, not very malty. Good acids and sweetness. Very balanced. Some bitter hops but not very dominant. Very refreshing summer beer and a very good example of the style
