UPDATED: MAY 12, 2011 Nice wheaty, yeasty, citrusty smell and flavor. Light and easy to drink, but with flavor, good beer.

Light transparent with huge white head. Aroma of sweet bananas, Belgian yeast, wheat bread, citrus fruits. There is more banana in the taste, as well as a tart tone (from wheat) and a mouth-cleansing fizzy carbonation. Very typical Belgian wheat beer - a little industrial in its appearance. When Hoegaarden is cold and the sun is warm, it’s a refreshing drink. But it seems dull and simple before you reach the bottom of the first (small) bottle.

Pours a pale yellow hazy color. Aromas of yeast. Body is lighter than expected. A little too light. Fruit flavors are what I get initially but there is definite yeast and wheat which finishes long.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2011 Pours a dirty yellow with a light white head. Has strong scent of coriander and has a nice pleasant Belgian yeast taste.

On tap at local pub, pours a pale yellow with a decent white head, aroma and flavor is of light spices with some lemon and grass in the finish, light and refreshing, not bad.

Classic wit, but too watery for my taste. Cloves, spices aroma. light malt, abit biscuity, cloves again, light peppery bitterness, slightly tart refreshing finish. Ok

Hazy light yellow, medium white head. Wheat flavor with some spice. A little citrus on the nose. A good refreshing summer beer.

I poured an 11.2 oz bottle into a glass tulip...
The beer was a light hazy yellow with a bubbly white head that receded quickly. The smell has banana/ bubblegum aroma, with lemon and wheat. The taste is similar with the banana and bubblegum, I also tasted orange peel, wheat and grassy hops. The feel is light with soft carbonation and a dry finish. I really enjoyed this beer, I could drink this on any occasion.
