3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2007 Bottled -- Pours a very pale straw colour, with a fantastic frothy head and decent spicy aroma. Head retention was average.
The taste of orange and coriander complement the slight wheat malty flavour ok, little bit of hoppyness. Clean and very refreshing, would have no trouble drinking large amounts of this beer.

Tap. Looks like lemonaid. Citrusy wheatie aroma. Flavor is malty, with a bit of hop bitternes for balance. Citrusy and refreshing. Not bad for a summer beer, but it doesn’t look like beer...

Mmmm...a delicious wheat. Very refreshing, with some spices and the usual wheat smells and tastes.

My first wheatbeer - i think it has changed since? It’s a very nice wheatbeer, but it’s also kindof "average" - trying not to displease anyone instead of *really* pleasing some people. Still very refreshing on a hot summer day! I could wash them down all day...

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2010 Robust aroma of apricot, banana and cloves - nothing subtle about it. Light tan and cloudy. Sweet apricot and clove flavor - no bitterness at all.

Looks like soft frozen lemonade...I mean it just looks like it would quench your thirst...not very complex, but a lot less spicy than its Celis White nephew...not a fan of wheat so it LOOKS more tasty and refreshing than it is...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 16, 2005 All the classic wheat beer components are present: cloudy pour with spicy/fruity aftertaste. Hoegaarden is less spicy and more caramel in character than Schneiders, for example.
I like a spicy wheat beer but this is still a good representation of the style.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy Lemonade colour with some white head. The Aroma is clovey and spicy. The flavour starts kinda light and refreshing with little body but the spices start to kick in as you sip. Some Butter or caramel sweetness is evident. The Beer Laces well. This is one very enjoybale and refreshing beer reminiscent of Lemonade. Would go down good after a long hot day. Cheers!

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Classic witbier appearance with golden-white coloring and suspended yeast. Subtle aroma. Definitely not as complex as micro witbiers but highly drinkable and a favorite of mine.
