UPDATED: JUN 6, 2008 Light, cloudy yellow beer with a very white head. Fruity, slightly smoked aroma, some spice, some lemon. Sweet and easy-to-drink with a hint of tartness.

Damn, I didn't read the instructions on the back of the bottle that state you should swish the last bit around before adding it to the glass. Pours a very hazy straw color with a very nice head and some lacing. Scent it typical Wit. Taste is as well; bananas and spices. Mouthfeel is very weak, though, and almost watery. Overall this is okay and nothing special.

Lovely Belgian Witbier. Almost colourless and very cloudy, but a very comprehensive body. The best wheat beer I have ever tasted.

Rare appearence but so caractersistic tasting, a has a great acid flavour but on the other hand has a sweet end if you drink it icy. Great beer, but not to drink it so often beacuse is easy to bore

Bottle pours a pale, hazy yellow with a small head and some lace. The aroma is yeasty and spicy. The flavor is clovey, yeasty, sweet, and slightly hopped with a medium palate. Overall, it sort of leaves me wanting more flavor and body, but it is OK.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2004 citrusy witbier aroma. yellow in color. i like it when beer looks like powdered lemonade with a frothy head. this beer seems perfect for what it is-- much more balanced than the victory whirlwind. very drinkable, subtle character. a great session beer.

Light golden colour and very cloudy. Aroma is spicy, and the taste is mainly orange/ citrus flavored. Very good on a warm day.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2007 Cloudy yellow in colour with very little head. Great tasting summer beer with refreshing citrus and spice notes. It tastes a bit soapy too, but I kinda like that (think Thrills gum). A very good accompaniment to hot thai chicken wings.

Cloudy light yellow(wife said it looked like infected urine, I asured her it tasted much better) thin clinging head that lasted for much of the beer. great aroma corriander pepper and faint yeast. the taste is good, light and refreshing,I pick up the orange peel and corrinader they say they put into it good balance

Hoegaarden is one of the rare beers that's easy to find, yet consistently very good. The appearance is typical of a Belgian witbier...cloudy yellow, not much of a strong point. There is also no head to speak of. However, the beer tastes great, smelling of coriander and lemon mostly, it tastes great (spicy, citrusy) and it has a very good, bracing nose to it as well. What Hoegaarden really has going for it is the tang when it hits your palate, however. The mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste of Hoegaarden are quite unique, and always enjoyable.
