Really hazy light yellow color - sort of like LemonHeads with a crystalized sugar look. Neat little head, and good lacing. Sweet lemon nose, nothing over the top but pleasant. Mostly lemon flavors, and really didn't taste any sourness, which is fine. I find it to be good example of its style.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2003 This beer pours beautifully with a clean white head and a golden white body that is chock full of sediment. Has a nice aroma of fruit, bubble gum, wheat malt, and coriander. Finishes with a slightly sour fruit taste. This is the first White Beer I have tried and I was very pleased. Even at the nine dollars I paid for a six-pack I would buy this again. Overall I think Hoegaarden White is a delicious and refreshing beer that is perfect for summer fare and hits the spot when you want something different.

Very pale yellow-white, nice large white head. Some spices in the aroma, some wheat and banana as well. Flavour is well balanced between sweet and bitter, some nice spices, lemon. Creamy palate. Overal not bad. Bottle.

Pours a very pale, murky yellow with a large white head and tremendous lace. Aroma is yeast and malt, like raw bread dough with orange. Flavor is sweet, citrus, spicy, with a little acid. A slightly bitter finish with a dry aftertaste. Amazingly complex beer for one that is light, refreshing and little watery. Good carbonation. An excellent beer.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2004 wheaty aroma with soft citrus and biscuity aromas. cloudy golden colouration with big rocky head. biscuity wheat with orange and hint of lime flavours. medium, smooth body, with light bitterness and slightly drying palate. nice refreshing subtle complexity, lots of flavours without any one flavour being overpowering.

Nice spicy and orange aroma with the same in the tasting. What I would say detracts somewhat from this beer is that it is slightly to watery for my taste. I prefer this in summer, it's a nice refreshing beer on a hot day.

I tend to buy these on draught only, because they come in a huge and very cool heavy-weight glass..!! Very small head and a good hazy yellow body. Good citrus and wheat aroma and a nice wheaty taste. Coriander and orange peel. Pretty good wheat beer and better than most German weissen in my opinion!

This is a classic, and is still a revolutionary drink in most run of the mill UK pubs. The colour is like a hazy sunrise, and the taste is a fresh smack of lemon and wheat. The thin heads fizzes like an aspirin, and it's lip smackingly addictive too. The only thing which lets this down is that it tends to be variable depending on the pub and day of the week.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2006 (Bottled) Opaque yellow color with a medium, tight, not very lacy head. Sweetish, yeasty, spicy, orange-pineapple-fruity aroma. Yeasty, lightly acidic, lemony flavor with orange peel and other spices. Soft and refreshing, light to medium-bodied, slicky palate with balanced carbonation. An easily drinkable and refreshing terrace drink, that goes down during winter as well.
