2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Slight hoppy aroma..memories of Holsten Alkolfrei, cloudy lemon juice colour, quickly dissipating head, hints of orange and spices..like a very weak chai tea. Not terrible, and very refreshing...I must ask though, where are my precious malts?

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy pale blonde color, thin white head. Nice aroma of citrus, maybe spices also. The flavor is mostly citrus, maybe spices too. Light to medium body, oily mouthfeel. This is a mainstream witbier, it is easily drinkable by a lot of people, but it’s not very good.

Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow with an averaged sized head. Aromas and tastes of lemons and citris. One of the best Witbiers out there. Very easy to drink...

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy and pale in the glass, with a delicate white head. Aromas of lemon and citrus, slight smell of yeast. This beer has a diminutive taste, but is complex and very subtle -- maybe a little too subtle to appreciate the flavors and spice, however. I expected more from this witbier.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. A hazy, pale yellow witbier that pours with a foamy, lasting head. White bread aroma with a lemony accent. Light body with a creamy/watery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Bready, wheaty, and pasta-like flavour has some citrus notes. Dry, lightly bitter finish. Coriander and orange peel tastes aren’t particularly noticeable. Still a relatively pleasant summer drink, but seems to have lost much of its character over the last few years. This is the unoffensive, mainstream version of a beer that was once much better.

Very interesting beer, with a well balanced taste (and content) of yeast. Fruity and a little bit spicy taste.

Served in iced glasses. Very summery drink. Mother of all wit-beers? A bit thinner than I remember, might be due to temperature.
