Light yellow and very cloudy color with big head. Looks very much of grape lemonade. Aroma has some lemon but banana comes out stronger. Flavor starts with crispy carbonated bite in your tongue, later taste of malt is also dominated by banana. Little bit of bland taste, and I also waited this beer to be fuller. Carbonation in the end covers some of the mild hops, although some of it works nicely. As I said this was little bit of disappointment, altough it was my first Belgian white. May work fine when you are thirsty or in sauna.

Pours a murky, lemon juice color with a little white head. Strong citrus hop and doughy nose. Flavors are orange (with the peel) belgian yeast, and a very feint licorice taste. Very nice.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2007 Still the best white beer. Good fresh citrus taste. Beautiful looks in characteristic glass!

This beer looks, smells and tastes wonderful. Cloudy, citrus-y sweet and incredibly refreshing. The perfect thirst-quencher for our hot, humid Atlanta summers.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2008 I really wanted to like this beer as I had heard so many people rave about it. However, I wonít be so ignorant to say itís crap, but it sure tasteís like it. I suffered through two bottles poured into a glass. The head was awesome and the beer looked great, but I couldnít stomach the taste. I actually liked the Blue Moon Belgian White better. Re:rate - I must have gotten a bad batch a few years back, this beer is not that bad. In fact, itís rather tasty and refreshing. I donít love Witbiers but this is one of the better ones.

Lightly cloudy pale golden in color with an egg white head that is modestly retained. Aroma is spicy/yeasty. Flavor is spicy with light wheast flavor. Finish is dry. Nice thirst quencher.

Alright, this where me and the import guys but heads. This is rank, one glass was enough for anyone in the room. Out of 10 people (all of which who have had well over 200 different beers) this was not one theyíd recomend. Come on, the smell alone was enough to make a horse puke. Iíll stop there. But, please, go buy a 6 of these and enjoy. For that matter, buy two 6ís, and all of you enjoy.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2008 Super head and a nice cloudy yellow appearance. Very nice taste with a subdued sweet citrus taste. Aftertaste is very good as well.

(on tap) Going back this was the first witt I ever tasted, so.... Lots of foam, lots ofbanana to the nose. A big mouth for a scottish ale-lover, but I really like the fullness of a Hoegaarden. Thanx for keeping up the good work in the hard times after WW2.

Estery aroma, citrus. Cloudy light yellow color. Taste is very belgian, with wheat and floral notes. Medium body. Great witbeer.
