12 oz bottle: Pours a cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is that of a weissbier; fairly sharp with a hint of citrus. First taste is very different than I expected. Full of flavor, fairly spicy with a hint of orange. Not quite sure how much I like this one, but it grows on you the more you taste it.

Very enjoyable and light. This is such a different beer. Citricy and Spicy, very lemony and served with lemon slice. The beverage is lemony yellow with a little white head. My first one seemed watery but my second packed lots of flavor. I look forward to having more.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2004 (Draft) This beer grows on you. With itís cloudy appearance and yeast laden chunkyness itís a bit of a strech for someone who is new to this style. If you can get past that you will find a delicate lemony flavor that packs some nice spicyness. Full of flavor and great on a hot summer day with a wedge of lemmon and a stamper.

One of my favorite beers. Found it in NYC be accident and had to wait years before it arrived in Ohio. I like Bellís Winter Wheat better but I can get this beer in the summer. Very refreshing with a clean taste. A great light beer for any occasion w/ enough flavor to go with food from wings to lighter fare.

Watery flavor, too citrus-heavy (especially toward lemon scent), but it smells and looks nice. There are much better witbiers out there, such as Blanche de Brugges (sp?).

Very pale lemon in colour, a little cloudy. Spicey nose with excellent lift. VG palate feel, quite a full bodied style but not alcohol heavy. More spice and some medicinal notes. In my opinion the benchmark witbier in OZ for $3-$4.

Bizarre glowing yellow color that looked awesome. The smell caught me way off guard, made me wonder what was up with the style. Yeasty and peppery sort of smell with some very faint fruitiness, almost smelled like musty dust. The mouth is where itís at. Silky, smooth. Some bubblegum highlights in the taste, as well as the coriander. Some hidden cloves and citrus as well as the usually banana. All in all, superb.

Bottle: Hazy very light yellow w/ ghostly white highlights around the edges. Coriander and orange abound in the aroma, but theyíre light. Predominant, but not overwhelming. Wheat malt is right behind as is a hint of clovey spice. Flavor is well balanced, tart in the finish & aftertaste, and spicy citrus between. Spicy yeast and a light acidic sourness from start to finish. Light bodied, highly carbonated, and lightly acidic in the m/f. This is a very enjoyable Wit! I know itís the stereotypical "Wit" but Iíve had much better in the aroma from Vuuve, but flavor is solid and refreshing.

I was attracted to this beer by its novelty and have come to savor its broad palate of flavors. A fun one to drink, very fruity. Itís not as great from a bottle, but if you can get it on tap in one of the round chalice-like glasses, itís worth any extra cost.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2005 Bottle. Grapefruit juice colour, nice white head. Quite spicey (lots of coriander), with almost no trace of orange (maybe felt it once), suprisingly refreshing. Itís overall, quite an enjoyable white.
