Mmmm...a delicious wheat. Very refreshing, with some spices and the usual wheat smells and tastes.

My first wheatbeer - i think it has changed since? It’s a very nice wheatbeer, but it’s also kindof "average" - trying not to displease anyone instead of *really* pleasing some people. Still very refreshing on a hot summer day! I could wash them down all day...

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2010 Robust aroma of apricot, banana and cloves - nothing subtle about it. Light tan and cloudy. Sweet apricot and clove flavor - no bitterness at all.

Looks like soft frozen lemonade...I mean it just looks like it would quench your thirst...not very complex, but a lot less spicy than its Celis White nephew...not a fan of wheat so it LOOKS more tasty and refreshing than it is...

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2005 All the classic wheat beer components are present: cloudy pour with spicy/fruity aftertaste. Hoegaarden is less spicy and more caramel in character than Schneiders, for example. I like a spicy wheat beer but this is still a good representation of the style.

Pours a cloudy Lemonade colour with some white head. The Aroma is clovey and spicy. The flavour starts kinda light and refreshing with little body but the spices start to kick in as you sip. Some Butter or caramel sweetness is evident. The Beer Laces well. This is one very enjoybale and refreshing beer reminiscent of Lemonade. Would go down good after a long hot day. Cheers!

Classic witbier appearance with golden-white coloring and suspended yeast. Subtle aroma. Definitely not as complex as micro witbiers but highly drinkable and a favorite of mine.

12 oz. brown, bowling pin shaped bottle, with snap off cap. Best before date of 16-08-05, so pretty fresh then. Poured out a very pale golden yellow color, with lots of suspended yeast in it. Almost white in color. Huge white, frothy head at first, but it quickly slid back to a floating island of meringue on top of the beer. Aromas are of corriander, orange peel, wheat malts, and yeast, in that order. Tastes are of lactic wheat tang, spices, and yeast. Thin mouthfeel, not as thick feeling as it looks. Plenty of carbonation, however. Swirling the glass produces another volumous head. Spicy tasting, and finishes sweet and sour. Fairly decent wheat beer overall.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy pale yellow/gold with a big head that slowly dissipated to a coverlet. Aroma was dominated by citrusy/lemony notes, some pine, with coriander seed becoming noticable as it warmed. Flavour was buttery lemon, tangy with some light banana notes and cloves in the background. Light bodied with very fine carbonation and very well balanced bitterness. This is a beer that compliments itself in every aspect.

Slight hoppy aroma..memories of Holsten Alkolfrei, cloudy lemon juice colour, quickly dissipating head, hints of orange and spices..like a very weak chai tea. Not terrible, and very refreshing...I must ask though, where are my precious malts?
