3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy, pale golden color, small white head. Aroma of lemon, pepper, with maybe some cloves. Flavor is light and refreshing, with some lemon enhanced by a light spiciness. Less spicy than many whites, making this a nice brew for a hot day.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2005 Very nice, cloudy, darksh yellow color with a medium white head of very fine bubbles. Fruity (banana?) aroma and flavor. Mildly spicy taste. Medium to light body. Fizzy texture. With an ever-so-slightly metallic finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very drinkable, to say the least. I found this similar to a Weihenstaphaner, but not quite as spicy. Teriffic white, foamy head, plenty of carbonation, slight fruitiness, very good.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
So this is the #1 rated White? I don’t get it. Has hardly any aroma. Appearance makes up for it though. Crisp light & refreshing. Light spices & yeasty flavors. Palate seems to be thin. I prefer Allagsh White and Celis White when it was brewed in Austin over this one. Both have far more flavor.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours with a nice head that dissipates rather quickly. A slightly sour aroma, but hardly offensive. A nice taste, nothing that I can discern, but overall, very good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 10, 2005 This is a very drinkable Belgian White which effectively uses coriander and orange to engineer a beer suited for the masses who want something good but not too overwhelming or complex. It does seem to have a more complex taste than American-made witbiers like Blue Moon and Allagash White. It is definately sweeter than the latter. This is hazy in the glass as most of these beers and some like it better on tap with a fruit slice, I actually prefer it in a bottle.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
We all know the look. Floral aroma with smattering of lemon zest. Flavors include white cardamom sprinkled over a Twizzler-tangerine-limeade soda smoothie. Crisp mouthfeel--I acknowledge that this is preferable as a summer brew, not a St. Paddy’s, but I’d rated all the other taps recently. A tasty treat, but not for everyone.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice opaque yellow with bright white head. Light mouthfeel makes this refreshing in the proper climate. Not as over-the-top spicy as some domestic wit examples. Like the description says: Well calibrated sweet and sour (well, spiciness of orange peel and coriander).
