4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy, pale lemon color in glass, very inviting, with a dense white head that resolves without lace. Citrus and a suprising pine note in the aroma, plus mild yeastiness. Flavor is citrus, pine, apricot, yeast (in that order on the tongue), with apricot at the end and a very faint licorice aftertaste. Strong carbonation, hops character is almost nonexistent. Overall my favorite everyday drinker.

I could never get into this one. Looks pretty in the tumbler. Like lemonade with lots of backwash. Smells like chemical cleaner, but not in a bad way. Flavors are lemony, fizzy and transparent, very bland and transparent. Not the best Wit. Man back in the day the Celis White was the king of the land, much better than this one. Now they both suck.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2004 Pours a light orange/tan with a fizzy head. Aroma is mild but citrusy. Flavor is citrusy, wheaty, with a bit of spice, and some bubblegum as it warms. A very refreshing beer, I can't wait to lay out on the beach with a six pack of this. This is the kind of beer that should be in corona commercials.

Great example of a witbier. Very smooth and citrusy. Goes down easy and extremely good to drink when it is really cold. Light colored. Thirst quenching.

Pours a cloudy yellow-white with a thick white head. Aroma is typical for a witbiere, citrus and yeast. Taste is very mellow, smooth. Very good.
