Bottle. Pours a unique hazy light gold with thick bone-white head. Aroma is of hops, spices and bread. Taste is yeasty, very spicy and somewhat citrusy. Very tasty. Excellent beer.

Hazy very pale yellow beer with a short lasting head but persistent lacing. Very interesting aromas of fruit and spices, much brighter and fresher than most wheat beers. Spices and citrus flavors with a lingering sweetness. Thin mouthfeel with ample carbonation and extreme drinkability. Makes me want warm summer night.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2006 The aroma from this brew is heavenly. Fruity with orange and coriander flavors. It is a thin beer which makes it exceptionally good for a hot summer night. Not even a hint of bitterness makes it all to easy to drink far to many of these.

[From a botle] Fizzy, cloudy yellow with a thick foamy head that diminishes to a film, leaving behind white lace. Fruity and spicy aroma iwth cloves, orange, banana, lemon, and a touch of malt. Flavour reflects aroma with a little more lemon and much more obvious malt. No bitterness. Feels and tastes very clean. Explosive carbonation. Just a little thin for my taste.

Orange sweet and fruity tasting. Pale in colour. Very lilttle bitterness and easy drinking. Alot of character compared to the stuff I usually drink (macro). Quite enjoyable

Nice frothy head but not very stable, light yellow color, hazy. Mandariny citrusy aroma with notes of coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, taste of sugared mandarin juice, light bodied, refreshing. Coriander and a light astringent dryness in the finish. Pleasant, very pleasant.

Iíve been eyeballing this brew for a few weeks at the grocery now, so I picked up a sixer of it last night. Glad I did - It was about as I expected it to be. Basically, it is a much better Blue Moon. Pours a decent golden color with a peculiar haze, which definitely fits their claim of being unfiltered. The head is a nice yellowish white creamy pillow. It didnít last too long though - not sure if it was how I poured it or if it does this anyway. You can definitely smell the citrus in this stuff. The taste is very light orange w/ spice, a refreshing change from the overly fruity Blue Moon. Goes down smooth and leaves no funky aftertastes. Honestly, the only negative part of this brew is the cost. I guess if I am going to spend $8.49 for a sixer, I grab Anchor Steam Beer instead. Definitely a nice change of pace though. Highly recommended if you are hankering for a slightly sweet brew.

Draught. Elephant & Castle Pub in Grove City, PA. I had a hell of a time finding this one on the site. Forgot that there were two "aís" in Hoegaarden. Poured extremely light colored and very hazy with a small but sturdy head that laced the glass well. Nice aroma of sour hay and citrus lemon that mixed quite well. My wife looked away from the bar and it was gone. Easy quaffing beer that seems to mix things together very well. Some spices in the nose (must be coriander and orange peel) and those flavors come through in a nice light way. Although this beer has very little body, it seems to fit the taste. Although I am an admitted hophead, I really do enjoy a good Belgian Witbier as well. Nicely done.

This is a beer that taste good. You could give it to a child and they probably would like it. Normally Iím into bitter nasty beer that gives me the false impression that Iím manly...but this stuff is just so pleasant. It gos down incredibly smooth, the scent is pleasing, and the after taste is mild. A very unique flavor(well...except for blue moon which rips this beer off). If youíre drinking with a chick who normally doesnít like beer....have her try this.
