Lemony aroma and to be fair it looked like lemonade too. The flavor was almost 100% citrus. Just a slight hint of something sour. It is exactly as advertised and truthfully I could have enjoyed several more but it left me feeling a bit lacking. To be fair though I had it the same night I sampled the Orval so perhaps it is just being overshadowed.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2003 Pours a very cloudy yellow, huge white head that sticks around and sticks to the glass on the way down. Aroma is a little malty (bread), some citrus (lemon), and spicy (mainly coriander). Flavor is a refreshing mix of citrus and spices. Body is medium, ends acidic and slightly dry. Perfect beer for the summer.

donít shun it, even though itís made by interbrew. has the great cloudy witbier appearance, aroma and flavour are standard of the style(coriander, citrus...). probably the best beer Iíve had from a major brewing company.

Cloudy, fizzy white head. Wheat and lemon custard aroma. Orange zest, refreshing, a bit soapy (probably from the coriander).

Being a white guy, I thought it appropriate for me to drink a white beer. A somewhat unique flavor, but I donít know if itís the best kind of unique. Kind of sour initially, but the aftertaste reminds me of a pacifier that might have been used by Rory Calhoun at sometime or another.

Came into this beer with high expectations, left sobbing loudly and gnashing my teeth.
This beer had absolutely no ghosty qualities whatsoever. The sourness did not improve its taste, and it wasnt a pleasant experience for me.
I very well couldve had a bad batch, because I rarely deviate from the norm this much.. but, here tis.

Has a nice yeasty aroma. It is cloudy from not being filteret. If poured right it has a very nice head - but most often is poured like a pilsener and then it ends up without any head. It has a nice refreshing yeast and fruit flavor. A great beer on a hot summer day for quencing your thirst.
