Aroma - An unusual smell with coriander, orange, citrus & various other furity type smells coming through.
App - A rather hazy yellow colour with a very large, white, foamy head that goes down but doesn’t disappear.
T - Coriander, clove & orange seem to be the strongest flavours along with various herbs
M - Very easy to drink & smooth. It has a lot of carbonation.
D- A fantastic beer overall, one of the nicest I think I have ever tasted.

Smells great, tastes great, is great. The quintessential belgian white that you can find in more places than most other belgian whites.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 MercyDevice (193) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2010
Both spicy and fruity. Very tasty and tangy, but not too much bitterness. This is a pale, straw color with a decent head. Definitely stronger and more spicy than most American wheat beers.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2011 A re8 . (750ml bottle). Hoegaarden is iconic i guess when you think of Belgians . nose is of rusticity with haystacks ..orange peel and spice. There is almost a Saison vibe . It looks classy in its own tumbler , i’m drinking it from an Erdinger weiss glass though . Flavours are soothing , its a very refreshing drink. Spicy and dry , with notes of sugary sweetness from the wheated malt ...A dry , tart like sourness with fruity orange acidity in the finish . I pick up some iron and as noted in the aroma hay too. A classy, refreshing , eazy to sink ’classic’.
