Dmalone102 (216), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 25, 2008 This is a great session beer. There’s not much more to say for this beer that hasn’t already been said. I do like the absence of a sour flavor. I sort of expect sourness when I drink weizens and Belgian whites, but not so in this beer, which makes it easy to drink. masonjer (562), Holt, Michigan, USA Sep 24, 2008 Finally rating this. Poured a nice soft yellow color. Nice white head. Aroma was yeast and soft spice. Taste was much the same, with a nice balance and crispness. This beer is very nice for how available it is. oteyj (716), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Sep 22, 2008 Pours yellowish with a somewhat large head. Aroma is spicy and citrusy with some sweetness evident as well. Flavor is well balanced and full- lots of spice, hops and malt all in great proportions. Body is a bit thin, but given the style it is actually quite nice. Nice one. jimig (23), , Texas, USA Sep 21, 2008 Touted to me to be the best of the Belgian Wits, although it is very good, it is not the best. Very nice and smooth. IPAsavedMYlife (32), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 17, 2008 The color is what suprized me the most, it’s quite yellow, almost to the color of lemonade. The taste is well balanced, and not too much added citris flavor. Great beer. Cheers! uhre (339), Denmark Sep 17, 2008 The beer is yellow with a huge head. The aroma is of yeast and banana perhaps also bubblegum. The flavor is of yeast, banana and floral. pacaus (49), Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 17, 2008 Definitely one of the leaders in making a great Belgium white beer. The flavours are great and although I have found a couple of others that rate up there with this one it will definitely reign as the original white beer. Great wheat smell and taste with hints of spice. Not quite as much fruitiness as most of the micros tend to add. dirt55 (150), Washington, USA Sep 15, 2008 Updated: Apr 9, 2009tap, bright yellow with nice white head, aroma of citrus wheat combo that is mouthwatering, wonderful citrus/spice flavor, great lasting wheat notes on palate, excellent beer.
