TEJA (281), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 31, 2008 The standard for belgian wit. It is one of the best summer beers. Tasty and refreshing. Snojerk321 (1914), San Diego, California, USA Jul 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours a very light hazy color. Big foamy white head. Big grainy/yeasty aroma with a hint of lemon. Slightly sweet flavor. Mild flavor of a Hefe. A touch of spice and a slightly bitter finish. RedXIII (127), Powell, Ohio, USA Jul 31, 2008 A very tasty, drinkable brew even though it’s not my style at all. Aroma is funky, but the taste is crisp, fruity, and has some qualities of a belgian ale. It has a creamy aftertaste, which makes it a top player in it’s style. Some hoppy flavor would’ve improved this beer. scotch4281 (39), Hollywood, Florida, USA Jul 30, 2008 If you like fruit, than this is the beer for you. It is mile, crisp, and reliable. I’d rather drink this than a competitor like Blue Moon, but its still not my favorite by any means. This was one of the beers that got me into Belgium, but its not like the competition. Keep the orange slice. drfood (17), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 30, 2008 This is a silky, subtle, understated refreshing little beer. It’s what people have been looking for when they drink those industrial beers-a thirst quenching, nourishing burst of relief.
Pours opalescent with a hint of yellow. Clean, citrusy, green apple aroma, light on the palate with a crisp, invigorating finish.
It’s a perfect sushi beer, great with all delicate foods. Droptank (79), Spring, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2008 delicious in all its cloudy glory. I was amazed at how refreshing this beer really is. I mowed the lawn in 100 degree heat then slammed one of these puppies down my gullet. Nice flavor, smooth body, mellow notes of citrus. Good summer drink. ErikTheViking (76), Oslo, Norway Jul 28, 2008 Unfiltered/cloudy, pale yellow almost white. Creamy white head. Very fresh aroma from citrus and apple. A little bitter aftertaste. In spite of the appearance it was very easy drinking on a sunny summerday, and much better than I remembered it from earlier. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland Jul 28, 2008 Great beer, slightly watery at times but with a good creamy white head on it this can be overlooked. Not sure if I’m keen on slices of fruit being placed in the glass with it, I think it can speak for itself to be honest. Great classic.
