On tap at South Park Tavern, Dayton, OH. Poured an almost eerie white color but clearly with yellow/gold to it. Aroma of spice and lemon. Very easy to drink. A unique style for me. I liked the spice flavor. I couldn’t tell much of the lemon flavor that everyone else has stated. Not my fav style probably but certainly good beer on a hot summer night.

On tap at connelly’s pour is a bright yellow with bleach white head. tastes is of wheat and lemon, be careful or bartender will put lemon in your beer which you don’t need. Not my favorite style but nice and light for friday at noon.

This has got to be one of the world most popular witbier. Very easy to get anywhere. While most people started with this one for the style, I started with Unibroue’s Blanche de Chambly. That beer actually got me into real beers. Anyways, this one pours a cloudy white-pale yellow colour with some beige in it. Very nice frothy white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is mild with yeast and spices, like corriander and ginger. Mouthfeel is kind of watery though. The taste is also quite mild, with citrus and vanilla. Remember being much better on tap, but still a decent witbier.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2010 As others say it pours cloudy. Pretty much as the bottle says: strong wheat taste with a hint of orange and spice.

Sour aroma, golden appearance with small white head. Taste is of coriander and a hint of orange among other spices. Slightly bubbly on the palate. Overall a decent wheat beer. Not my favorite type of beer but this is drinkable.

Bottled. Pours hazy yellow with abundant white head that dissappears fairly quickly. Taste is acidic with a light, bubbly mouthfeel. Aromas have herbs, hint of coriander.

Bottle poured into a weizen glass. Best by date is 23/03/11. One and a half inches of frothy, white head initially forms but quickly settles. No lacing. Color is cloudy, pale yellow, like lemonade almost. Wheat, yeast and notes of citrus and honey on the nose. Sweet floral characteristics as well. The palate shows the same, but with a hint of coriander and a light yeasty finish. Very light bodied with nice carbonation. Very easy to drink. A great session/summer beer.
