gwenc02 (3), Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Jun 27, 2008 bottle and tap. Not much going on with the aroma, but the taste is smooth and consistent from first sip to last. Citrus flavor with a slight weight to it.. definitely does not need orange or lemon like some wheat beers. Edgekrusher (83), , Alabama, USA Jun 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a nice head that disappeared quickly. Smells lightly fruity, and inviting. Taste is very abrupt with yeast and fades off into fruity undertones. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy, yellow color. Medium sized, bubbly white head. Aroma of bananas and clove. Big wheaty flavor mixed with yeast and citrus notes. Finish is flowerlike. basewars (144), Albany, New York, USA Jun 23, 2008 Pours hazy white. Smells of banana and yeast and tastes of it too. Great mouthfeel. A great white. gwelch925 (31), Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA Jun 22, 2008 Tumbler served at The Pub, Crestview Hills, Northern Kentucky. Tried this beer by my waiter’s recommendation that it tasted like Blue Moon; it tastes better than Blue moon. Has a great wheat flavor without the overpowering citrus flavor in Blue Moon. Has a mild malt aroma. craftycarl21 (513), South Hero, Vermont, USA Jun 20, 2008 solid frothy head, dissipated in pockets.yellow cloudy pour. classic belgian white aroma- yeast, citrus, and wheat undertones, along with some unique spices. flavor is delicious- the epitome of a really good belgian white. good mouthfeel, really tasty beer. Kavu (94), Jyväskylä, Finland Jun 20, 2008 0,33l bottle. Pours very pale opaque yellow with a light head. Aroma is wheaty, just like in any hefeweizen. Flavor is suitably sour with some wheat and fruit. A perfect beer to drink when you’re really thirsty on a hot day. Just like a few minutes ago. arondee (176), Tucson, Arizona, USA Jun 20, 2008 It’s a good beer. It’s has a very unique sweet fruity taste to it. If you like Blue Moon the taste is along the same line. It would probably go well with an orange or a lemon. A bit too sweet for me to drink more than one or two.
