Bottle. Pours a pale, sickly yellow, hazy body. Light yeast particulate. Average, foamy white head diminishes to a light ring. Bready yeast aroma with touches of coriander and citrus. Classic wit aroma. Thick dough in the flavor along with Belgian spice and some more citrus. Very pleasant and lightly tangy. Light body with lively carbonation. Slight mineral notes, but not unpleasant. Overall a classic version of the style

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2010 I like Hoegaarden, it comes in a nifty bottle, a favorite Belgian brew I often order at The Bar. Pours a yellow color with a thick foamy head. Smells of citrus and floral hops. Tastes more like lime/lemons than oranges. I enjoy this one, have not tried an orange slice with it yet.

330ml bottle. Pours a very nice straw color with a half-finger thick, stark white head. Smells of coriander with some floral and grassy undertones. Tastes of coriander, orange peel, with a very very clean feel. Palate is just right, not too bubbly, not too creamy. Great beer.

Bottle - Pours pale yellow with a two finger white head. Nose is wheatey and coriander really stands out. Has a very nice bouquet of flavor, not something i would drink often, but really good for a change.

I hate to give this beer such a low review, but the coriander flavor just kills me. The spice flavor upfront is great, but the overwhelming aftertaste does me in.

Bottle.
Hazy light yellow with a small white foam. Light aroma of hay, lemon, wheat, spices and yeast. Flavor was mild with wheat, yeast, citrus and coriander.
Light body and lively carbonation. Refreshing but nothing spectacular.

Vary pale hazy yellow with a big white dense head.
The aroma is light and "wheaty" with notes of yeast, tangerines and lime peel. Mild spices.
The flavor os rather sweet with a prominent mildly abrasive wheat character. Lots of yeasty aromas and bubble gum flavors. Sweet and faintly tart tangerine notes. The finish is short and sweet with notes of some spices.
Light body and lots of carbonation.
A balanced and refreshing classic, but nothing spectacular.

Bottle. 12oz. Pours a beautiful honey wheat yellow with a delicate, wispy white head. Aroma of hay, hops, sweet earth tones, and nice little touches of lemon and orange. Nice medium, easy-going body with a tart, deliciously sticky mouthfeel. Finish is smooth and soft. Really good macro wit.
