Hoegaarden

Light golden color......very hazy......almost opaque. Pillowy, white head. Mild citrus aroma. Light malt taste up front......smooth mouthfeel for the style. Complex citrus back, with a slight tart finish.

Draught. Pale lemony yellow, thick white head. Nose is strongly wheaty with yeast, pineapple, citric fruits and even a little raw banana. Flavor is wheat, soap and little fruitiness. Yeasty finish with mild vanilla. Nice, simple refresher. I’d like a tad more character though.

Pale yellow with a white head that laces nicely. Aroma of sweet malts, orange, citrus. Taste is sweet, crisp, spicy, orange, coriander with a semi dry finish. Decent witbier.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a medium sized white fruity head. This beer was tasty all around, the head with smelled of citrus and more distinctively lemons- the body itself was medium with a creamy texture and tropical fruit all around.

One of my favorites. Pours characteristically light yellow, smells like lemons and oranges. Sweet to taste, a perfect thirst quencher.

Pours a very light yellow, almost like a hazy lemonade. Aroma of orange, coriander and some lemon tartness. A lot of carbonation overwhelms the flavor a bit, which is sweet and orange in the start. Finishes with the lemon tartness and a hint of cinnamon flavor in the aftertaste. Pretty good choice, but it isn’t the best in the style.

nice citrus aroma with a hint of orange + other spices. nice white head. with a little bit of an after taste. all around good beer for any day. the orginal belgian white.
