Hoegaarden

A crisp refreshing beer, especially during hotter months of the year. Love the subtle hint of orange peel. Very nice beer.

I’ve probably consumed close to 100 bottles/glasses of this over the past few years. It’s a fantastic beer for warmer months, and is so drinkable and refreshing. One of my favorite beer experiences ever was coming home one july evening after playing tennis for like 2 hours in really humid weather with no water, and just downing one out of the bottle. It’s yeasty, a little spicy, mild, and really enjoyable. Fantastic for what it is and what it’s supposed to be.

Pale yellow with a thin head. Aroma of coriander, yeast and orange. Sweet dusty flavour with some mandarin and spice. A classic, but I prefer the speciale.

330 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy straw color with a frothy head. Aroma of coriander and lemon. Crisp, lemony taste, clean mouthfeel. One of my favorite summer beers.

Some fruit on the nose. Cloudy gold with a huge head. Clean sweetness, with the spices and tart citrus pulling through. Very fizzy, with a clean finish. Nice beer.

Bottle. 11.2 fl. oz. Unclear straw color with big, frothy, white head. Aromas of citrus and yeast. Medium bodied with a soft, smooth texture. Flavor is lightly sweet but mostly a tart bitterness. Very good.

Bottle. Pours very hazy yellow with a huge creamy head. Aroma is very spicy with notes of orange, citrus, coriander and clove. Flavour is somewhat sour and bitter but very refreshing. Notes of coriander, grapefruit, clove and orange. Medium to light body.
