Another one of the classics. Today it is the definition of a style. Do not let the service ruin the beer by putting disgusting lemon slices inside. The beer is good to go as is, by itself. Very easily drinkable, with a delicately balanced spice additions - they do not get annoying yet there is a definite presence. Highly carbonated, very refreshing with a touch of sourness, sessionable. Hazy pale yellow colour with a long lasting huge white head.

The name is inviting, but what a God awful beer. Spices do not belong in MY beer. The style is that of the familiar Blue Moon. In a certain mood I could drink this, but that mood is an uncommon one.

Mild yeasty aroma with light wheat notes. Pours a very pale very cloudy yellow with a tight big white head. Subtle sour notes with light wit beer flavors. Very drinkable. I like it.

Trübes helles gelb mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Fruchtig, Orange, Kräuter, leicht würzig, sehr süffig.

330ml bottle. Pale cloudy yellow colour with a big white head. Lovely spicy citrus aroma with coriander and wheat. Taste is smooth, citric (orange?), wheat, and mildly spicy with coriander, maybe a hint of banana. Smooth and refreshing. First Witbier I ever tried, it remains one of my favourites. 24th April 2013.

Light yellow color, medium to strong head. Notes of banana, citrus, and flower in aroma. Tastes of banana, biscuits, and the slight note of bitter orange peel and coriander as per the style. Not the most interesting, but a refreshing intoduction ot belgian wit.

Hoegaarden is a classic Witbier, defining the style. The pour is very translucent, pale yellow, and slightly cloudy. A neat white head forms with a pleasant effervescence, carrying aromas of light but fragrant spice. The taste is light, crisp, mild, tangy, slightly floral, and gently spiced. The finish carries the spice into the palate and thoroughly refreshes. An excellent session brew.

Pours hazy golden with lots of yeasty spices in the air. Starts off with a light mouthfeel followed by different spicy notes. Ends dry with sweet oranges notes. To me a classical and tasty Witbier.
