3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle poured into a weizen glass. Best by date is 23/03/11. One and a half inches of frothy, white head initially forms but quickly settles. No lacing. Color is cloudy, pale yellow, like lemonade almost. Wheat, yeast and notes of citrus and honey on the nose. Sweet floral characteristics as well. The palate shows the same, but with a hint of coriander and a light yeasty finish. Very light bodied with nice carbonation. Very easy to drink. A great session/summer beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hoegaarden is cloudy and pours a pale yellow color. A delightful foamy head is easily produced when pouring from the bottle. An intense citrus smell greets the senses as a sip is taken. The flavor is also citrusy and sweet with lemon, orange peel and a hint of pineapple. The body is full and creamy. Some fizziness is a welcome element to counter some of the sweetness. Compared to many other commonly available wheat beers, Hoegaarden provides a little extra goodness that is sure to be enjoyed.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mętne, o slomkowym kolorze. Piana biala, gęsta, drobnopęcherzykowa. W zapachu cytryna, skórka pomarańczy, chleba, banan, kolendra, trawa, na końcu minimalnie wyczuwalna końska derka. W smaku podobnie jak w aromacie: banan, cytryna, pomarańcza, kolendra i trawa. Na finishu lekka goryczka. Wysycenie małe. Rewelacyjne na upały, przepyszne piwo.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tastes like lotion, and is extraordinarily expensive. Looks nice at least, with a nice, consistent head and beautiful white body.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy lemon lemon yellow pour. There is a beautiful white head on this beer. Some citrus taste as well as aroma but there is a mellow buttery biscuit taste at the finish that was unpleasant on my first bottle. Now, several nights later, the biscuit butteriness is not as pronounced or I am beginning to like it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The first and still the best. The aroma gives subtle hints of the citrus zest and coriander to come. It lives up to the name of the style, with a white head over a cloudy pale body. The flavor is nice, smooth with just a hint of citrus bite. It feels like any other unfiltered wheat beer in the mouth. Overall, this is probably one of the best beers around for a nice summer evening.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is flavored with coriander and orange peel, but I got the impression of a light cinnamon flavor. Maybe it's just me, but this is a fantastic Belgian brew. The draft is supreme.

Pours a very pale hazy gold. Grassy nose. Citrus note from orange peel is detectable, but subtle. Same with the coriander. I’m ambivalent about this one....
