On tap at Pete’s in SF. Clear, light yellow. A very unique looking beer. Taste and smell kinda reminds me of a mimosa. Be careful with this one, the light fruity taste will make it go down like water. A pitcher can disappear in a few minutes.

For the eyes: pale yellow colour; the head is average sized; frothy, white; fair lacing; hazy, heavily particulate body. For the nose: straw malts and herb hops; notes of banana and pineapple. For the mouth: ligh body; thin texture; average carbonation; metallic finish. For the tongue: sweet, but with an acidity that brings a refreshing sensation. For me: refreshing and very decent.

33cl bottle. Lack of flavor. They tried to make a too clear beer and they made a beer which is not too bad. The aromas is not bad but not strong enough and the foam should be improved. Taste is gentle and drinkable, sweet.

Very carbonated. Lemon flavours dominate, with bread and slight spice undertones. Very light feel in the mouth, wish it was a bit more solid and a bit less sweet. Seems like a wheat beer for the lager drinker

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2009 one of the best Witbiers out there. Very intricate flavors with a nice tart kick in the end. Very drinkable, thirst quenching flavor. In the summertime I would grab one of these over a glass of lemonade in a heart beat.

This is truly one of my favorite beers, though I must say I like it best ice cold. I don’t drink it in the winter, though.

The classic Witbier. Coriander and curacao spices added. All other witbiers imitate this one. Must be tried.

It might be the fact that i dont drink beer like this, but i thought this "brew" was horrible. It was like i was drinking liquid chap stick! The arome was almost as bad as the taste, the appearance was sickening, but a decent palateIts a sad day when i rather drink Canadian than another beer. Yuck!

The authentic, the inventor, the bar that sets all Belgians. Good on tap or in bottle. If this has regressed in quality from the old days, I’d damn sure love to taste the vintage. it’s hard to call anything out on this beer - this beer is what all other wits were styled after.
